Before:
A homeowner in Manitowoc, WI was experiencing persistent moisture, musty odors, and cold floors above their crawl space. The exposed soil, unsealed rim joists, and damp air common to lake-influenced climates allowed humidity and outside air to move freely into the space. Condensation was forming on wood surfaces, insulation was deteriorating, and the crawl space was contributing to poor indoor comfort and rising energy costs.
After:
Sure-Dry encapsulated the crawl space with CleanSpace® vapor barrier, sealing the walls and floor to prevent moisture and vapor intrusion. The rim joists were then sealed with RimTight™, creating an airtight thermal boundary that blocks outside air, reduces heat loss, and improves overall energy efficiency.
The crawl space is now dry, sealed, and properly insulated, providing a healthier environment and improved comfort throughout the home.

Before:
A Denmark homeowner was dealing with recurring basement water after storms, with seepage appearing along the wall–floor joint. Their existing sump couldn’t keep up during heavy rains, and winter brought a new risk: the exterior discharge line could freeze and back up water into the basement.

After:
We installed the WaterGuard® interior drainage system around the basement perimeter to capture seepage at its point of entry. Collected water now drains to a TripleSafe® sump system that provides three layers of protection—primary pump for everyday flow, a secondary pump for peak demand, and a battery-backup pump for power outages. To prevent winter backups, we added IceGuard® anti-freeze fittings on the exterior discharge.

If the line freezes, IceGuard safely vents water away from the home instead of back into the basement. The result is a dry, reliable basement year-round.

In this basement in New Franken, WI water had managed to seep it's way through the concrete pours and soak around the perimeter of the basement.
