Before
This Antigo, WI homeowner had a decorative stamped concrete step at the entrance to their home that had started sinking and pulling away from the door frame. Because the concrete was colored red and stamped with a decorative pattern, replacing the step would mean losing an attractive feature that was designed to complement the home.
Settlement like this commonly occurs when soil beneath the concrete compresses, erodes, or develops voids. Northern Wisconsin's repeated freeze-thaw cycles can further contribute to movement beneath exterior concrete. As the step settled, the growing gap near the doorway became increasingly noticeable and created an uneven transition at the entrance.
After
Sure-Dry used PolyLevel® to lift the existing decorative concrete step back toward its proper position near the door frame.
PolyLevel polyurethane foam is injected through small holes in the concrete and expands beneath the slab, filling voids and providing the controlled lifting force needed to raise settled concrete. This was particularly beneficial for a decorative stamped step because the existing concrete could be preserved rather than removed and replaced.
Compared with traditional mudjacking, PolyLevel requires smaller injection holes, uses lightweight polyurethane that adds less weight to the underlying soil, and cures quickly.
The repair preserved the home's red stamped concrete while correcting the settlement and improving the transition at the doorway.

Before
This Antigo, WI garage floor had severe cracking throughout the concrete, with sections of the slab beginning to settle and move independently from one another. The result was an uneven garage floor with wide, highly visible cracks that continued to worsen as the concrete shifted.
Cracking and settlement like this often indicate problems beneath the slab. Poorly compacted soil, erosion, washout, and voids beneath the concrete can leave portions of a garage floor without adequate support. Northern Wisconsin's repeated freeze-thaw cycles can further contribute to movement when moisture reaches the soil beneath the slab.
After
Sure-Dry used PolyLevel® to stabilize and level the affected sections of the garage floor. Lightweight polyurethane foam was injected beneath the concrete to fill underlying voids and provide controlled lifting where settlement had occurred.
After the slabs were stabilized, NexusPro® was used extensively throughout the garage floor to seal the severe cracks. Sealing these openings helps limit water from traveling through the cracks and reaching the soil beneath the concrete, where additional washout and settlement could occur.
The combination addressed both the movement beneath the concrete and the extensive cracking visible on the surface, resulting in a more stable, level, and protected garage floor.

Before
This Antigo, WI homeowner had settled concrete in several high-traffic areas around the property, including the driveway, front walkway, and the sidewalk leading to the garage service entrance. Multiple slabs had shifted and sunk, leaving uneven transitions between sections of concrete.
These changes can create noticeable trip hazards along walkways and uncomfortable bumps or low spots across a driveway. Settlement commonly develops as soil beneath the concrete compacts or washes away, leaving voids that no longer adequately support the slabs. Northern Wisconsin's rain, snowmelt, and repeated freeze-thaw cycles can contribute to these changing soil conditions.
After
Sure-Dry used PolyLevel® to lift and stabilize the settled sections throughout the property. Lightweight polyurethane foam was injected beneath the driveway, front walkway, and sidewalk leading to the garage service entrance, filling underlying voids and providing controlled lifting pressure to bring uneven slabs back toward their proper positions.
Compared with traditional mudjacking, PolyLevel requires smaller injection holes, uses lightweight material that adds less additional weight to compromised soils, and cures quickly.
Repairing the existing concrete allowed the homeowner to improve several areas of the property without the disruption and expense of tearing out and replacing otherwise usable slabs. The driveway and walkways now have smoother transitions and a more stable surface for everyday use.

Before:
A homeowner in Omro had settled concrete along the front walkway and sections of the driveway. Toe-stubbing lips formed near the garage threshold and entry, and open joints let water run toward the foundation, worsening freeze–thaw damage.
After:
We injected PolyLevel® beneath the settled panels to fill voids and lift the slabs back to a smooth, properly pitched surface. We then sealed control and expansion joints—with backer rod where needed—and applied NexusPro® sealant, finishing with color-match sand for a clean look.
The walkway and driveway are now level, safer to use, and better protected against water intrusion and seasonal movement.
The concrete slab of this walkway in Pickett, WI was sunken, creating a large gap between the walkway and the front patio.
To lift this slab and level it with the patio, Sure-Dry Basement Systems applied their PolyLevel® Injection Foam system. PolyLevel is an expanding polyurethane foam that is injected beneath the concrete to fill the gaps caused by soil erosion and raise and stabilize the concrete surface.
