Concrete Driveway, Walkway, and Garage Floor Repaired in Green Bay, WI

Before: A homeowner in Green Bay, WI had a large concrete driveway, front walkway, and set of front entry steps that had all started settling and shifting over the years. Several driveway slabs had dropped enough to create rough transitions when pulling in, and the walkway leading up to the front steps had become uneven and awkward to walk across. The front steps themselves had also shifted out of level, making the entire entrance area look worn down and creating a real tripping hazard for anyone coming up to the house.
Like a lot of homes around Brown County, years of freeze-thaw weather and moisture working underneath the concrete had slowly caused the supporting soils to settle and wash out. The homeowner wanted to get everything straightened back out and safer to use without having to replace such a large amount of concrete.

After: Sure-Dry used PolyLevel High-Density Concrete Lifting Foam to carefully lift and stabilize the large driveway, front walkway, and entry steps back closer to level. By injecting the foam beneath the slabs and steps, the crew was able to fill the empty spaces underneath and raise the settled concrete without tearing out and replacing the existing surfaces. Compared to traditional mudjacking methods, PolyLevel High-Density Concrete Lifting Foam is lightweight, cures quickly, and works especially well on larger projects that require more precise lifting throughout multiple sections of concrete.
After the leveling work was completed, the joints and cracks were sealed using NexusPro Concrete Joint Sealant to help keep water from getting back underneath the slabs. By the end of the project, the driveway had smoother transitions, the walkway and steps felt much safer to use, and the entire front entrance of the home looked cleaner, straighter, and much more put together overall.

Sunken and Failing Concrete Driveway Repaired in Green Bay, WI

Before: A homeowner in Green Bay, WI was getting tired of dealing with a driveway and sidewalk that seemed to get worse every year. Several slabs had settled and shifted enough that the concrete was badly uneven, especially along the sidewalk leading toward the home. Grass and weeds were growing through the seams, water was settling in the low spots, and the cracked joints made the whole area look worn down. Around Brown County, this kind of settling is pretty common after years of freeze-thaw weather and changing moisture under the slabs.
The uneven concrete had also started becoming a real tripping hazard. Some sections had dropped enough that walking across the driveway and sidewalk wasn’t smooth anymore, especially near the joints where the slabs had separated over time.

After: Sure-Dry lifted and stabilized the settled concrete using PolyLevel High-Density Concrete Lifting Foam throughout the driveway and sidewalk areas. The foam was injected beneath the slabs to fill the empty spaces underneath and carefully raise the concrete back toward level without needing to tear everything out and replace it. Compared to older mudjacking methods, PolyLevel High-Density Concrete Lifting Foam is lighter, cures fast, and doesn’t put extra stress on the soils below the concrete.
After the slabs were lifted, the crew sealed the open joints and cracks using NexusPro Concrete Joint Sealant to help keep water from getting back underneath the concrete. Once the project was finished, the driveway and sidewalk looked cleaner, lined up much better, and were a lot safer to walk across without the uneven edges and weeds taking over the seams.
