Water collecting near a home's foundation can create ongoing moisture problems and increase the risk of water intrusion. To help keep water away from the structure, our team installed an exterior drainage system designed to collect and redirect runoff away from the home.

These photos show the installation process as drainage piping was carefully routed beneath the existing paver patio. The system was connected to the downspout drainage line and equipped with an IceGuard fitting to provide an emergency escape route for water if the discharge line ever becomes blocked. Once the drainage components were installed, the pavers were reset to restore the appearance of the outdoor living space.

By moving water away from the foundation, this exterior waterproofing solution helps reduce moisture concerns and provides long-term protection for the home.

These photos highlight the symptoms of poor water management around the driveway, where pooling and runoff threatened the concrete and surrounding landscape. To solve this issue, a channel drain system was installed directly into the driveway. The drain connects to an underground discharge line, safely redirecting water away from the surface. This solution prevents standing water, protects the concrete from erosion and cracking, and ensures long-term drainage performance for the Green Cove Springs property.

The french drain was connected to our sump pumps, which are designed to work in tandem to prevent flooding.

After the installation, the exterior waterproofing drainage system now effectively channels water away from the foundation, preventing water from entering the home. The TripleSafe sump pump ensures that any water that does reach the sump pit is promptly pumped out, maintaining a dry and secure basement. This system provides reliable protection against water damage, ensuring the home remains dry all the time.
