This homeowner called us here at Atlanta Basement Systems, stating that they had noticed that there were high levels of humidity in their crawl space. Humidity and moisture can cause many issues for a homeowner, and it can lead to high levels of damage done in the home if not taken care of. To rid the homeowner of these issues, we installed CleanSpace, and the SaniDry Sedona. These ensure that damage from humidity is not taken and the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier will keep the air dry, and the quality of the air good throughout the home.

This customer was dealing with a moist and humid crawl space, which was leading to mold growing on the wood in the space. Once mold begins to grow in the crawl space, this is allowing impure air to filter throughout your home. This can lead to many different health issues for the family, and once mold begins to grow, this can lead to further issues with wood rot. This customer knew they needed to get this issue fixed in their crawl space. To rid the mold before the encapsulation, we used soda blasting, which remediates the mold and gets it out of the space, leaving the crawl space clean and to filter throughout the home.

This crawl space was facing water intrusion and it was leading to mold growing in the space. Not only does this cause health issues with moldy air circulating throughout the home, but this can also lead to structural integrity issues throughout the home if not taken care of in enough time. To fix the crawl space, Titus and his crew encapsulated the space with CleanSpace, the CleanSpace Vent Seals. They also installed the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to keep the air clean and dry for the health of those living in the home. This customer was pleased, and the photos go to show how much of a difference was made in the home.

Kirk reached out to us after experiencing a pretty heavy flood in his basement. While one of our System Design Specialists was out their for a free estimate, he discovered that water was seeping in through the walls. In order to fix this issue we installed the CleanSpace Wall System to create a vapor barrier. Water that got in through the walls was directed down by the CleanSpace to the WaterGuard drainage system we installed. We also installed a TripleSafe pump system to efficiently pump water out of the WaterGuard drains. Since the completion of installation, Kirk has been very satisfied with his basement staying dry all the time!
