In Eastanollee, our team at Atlanta Basement Systems addressed a mold issue in a homeowner’s crawl space. In the before photo, notice how dampness led to mold development, affecting the home’s air quality and structural integrity. We installed the CleanSpace® encapsulation to prevent moisture and mold, outperforming typical materials you see elsewhere. This transformation showcases our commitment to promoting safer and healthier homes through comprehensive crawl space repair.
Shortly after moving into this home, the homeowners noticed some issues with their crawl space. They wanted to reduce the damage and prevent future problems from arising so they scheduled a free inspection to see what could be done. After Trey,, one of our System Design Specialists, performed his inspection, he found that excessive moisture in the crawl space was damaging the wooden supports, causing the floor to dip in some areas.
To fix this, we had to first encapsulate the crawl space so that moisture and humidity could no longer get in and damage the foundation. This meant sealing off the vents, installing the CleanSpace encapsulation system, and installing a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. Then the SmartJack support system was installed to stabilize the beams.
Now this crawl space and home are safer, protecting this family and their investment in their home.
This customer was dealing with a very humid and moist crawl space. To fix this issue for this customer, Juan and his crew went to the home and encapsulated the crawl space. To encapsulate it, they used CleanSpace, SilverGlo and the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. With the three of these it not only provides a barrier between the crawl space and the outside Earth. The SilverGlo provides insulation and the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier is going to not only keep the air in crawl space dry, but it keeps it dry and clean as it circulates throughout the home. This customer was left thoroughly pleased with the results.
Recently, a homeowner in Stephens called in with concerns of a damp and humid crawlspace. This causes concerns for the integrity and safety of the home, so as a company we knew that we wanted to get these concerns ironed out for this homeowner. To rid the concern, Josh and his crew installed CleanSpace, the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier and an EverLast Door in the crawlspace. All of these pieces combined ensure that this crawlspace will stay dry, and will not cause any further issues for the homeowner. The homeowner was pleased and we were glad to restore that peace of mind.
The ground and foundation walls of your crawl space allow moisture to enter. An adequate vapor barrier like CleanSpace protects your crawl space from mold growth, wood rot, and pest infestations.
