After the most recent flooding of their basement, this homeowner living in Lubec, ME had had enough. They decided it was time they had the space waterproofed and called us at TC Hafford Basement Systems to get it done. When our crew arrived at the home, they got started right away installing WaterGuard piping beneath the perimeter of the basement floor. These pipes, leading to a TripleSafe sump system, will pull in and trap any water leaking into this basement in the future. The water will then be pumped out of the home by the new TripleSafe pump, where it will no longer cause this homeowner any trouble. Finally, a CleanSpace wall liner was installed around the walls of the basement, to both provide a larger area of moisture protection as well as to brighten up the interior of the basement. With these improvements below their home, this homeowner should no longer suffer from a regularly flooding basement!

This Whiting, Maine basement had cracks in the walls and floors that were letting water in, causing a mess. We poured a new slab floor with WaterGuard perimeter drainage system. The WaterGuard connects to a new TripleSafe sump pump so that all water is pumped away from the home. CleanSpace Wall System was installed as a vapor barrier on the walls to seal out moisture. We also added Spray Foam insulation as extra moisture protection. Spray Foam is water and mold resistant, and immediately provides energy efficiency improvements to the basement.

Our crew got started by installing a new SuperSump pump to remove any collected water from the basement. Feeding directly into this sump, a WaterGuard piping system was installed around the perimeter of the basement floor. Buried beneath the floors surface, this piping will pull in any future leaks before they reach the inside of the basement. Now any water will be diverted out of the home without causing flooding in this homeowner’s basement again!

Homeowners from Eastport, ME were excited for help with their wet basement.
