A moisture barrier consisting of a Drainage Matting covered by a CleanSpace liner encapsulation was installed in the crawlspace to prevent outside water from entering the interior of the space. Next, a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier and Condensate Pump were put in place atop the new barrier to collect and remove any moisture lingering in the atmosphere of the crawlspace.

This began with a Drainage Matting laid across the floors surface followed by a CleanSpace liner encapsulation. CleanSpace is an inorganic material so it has the added benefit of preventing mold growth. To address the humidity, we installed a SaniDry Sedona high efficiency air system. The SaniDry Sedona can remove 100 pints of water per day and keeps the crawl space at a healthy humidity level to avoid moisture problems. 

Beals, ME homeowners contacted TC Hafford Basement Systems for help with their wet and leaking basement. We poured a new slab along with slab WaterGuard around the perimeter of the basement. WaterGuard helps channel any water to the brand new TripleSafe Sump Pump. The TripleSafe features two Zoeller sumps and a battery-powered backup for protection if they lose power. The TripleSafe drains water out of the basement and through an Exterior Buried Discharge line that is protected against ice buildup with IceGuard. CleanSpace Wall System was installed to act as a vapor barrier where needed and channel any additional moisture from the walls to the WaterGuard. SprayFoam insulation was installed on the rim joists keeping cold air out during the winter, making the space more comfortable, and saving the homeowner money on their energy bill.
