Cynthia had moved some furniture in the basement when she found wet carpet. The basement had a sump pump but it was all the way on the other side of the basement so it was not very effective in getting rid of the water that was seeping in. First, we installed the WaterGuard system which consists of a French drain that collects the water as is seeps into the basement and drains it to the sump pump. We then installed the TripleSafe Sump Pump which provides three levels of protection in case of a pump failure or a power outage. Lastly, we installed the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier which keeps dry air circulating throughout the space to dry out your basement. It's small size its small size makes it easy to keep in the basement since it won't take up much space!
Chris noticed some wet carpet in his basement so he lifted it up and tore some dry wall away to see where the problem was. The water was coming in from the wall and he needed a fix for that since the basement is partially finished and the water could do more damage. We installed the WaterGuard system to keep the water out of the basement. It collects the water and drains it to the sump pump. We also installed the CleanSpace Wall System that keeps water vapor from passing through your foundation walls. With anti-microbial protection called UltraFresh built right in, no mold or mildew will grow on the CleanSpace!
Jennifer's sump pump was no longer able to keep up with the water seeping into her basement. She called Ayers for our sump pump options to replace her faulty one. We determined our SuperSump Plus would do a more efficient job with the water. The SuperSump Plus is a horsepower cast-iron sump pump capable of pumping 2,220 gallons of water an hour at an 8-foot head. With this replacement sump pump, Jennifer will no longer have to stress over water puddling in her basement!
These Holt homeowners were having some issues with their basement. They had some cracks that were starting to separate and water coming into the area in several places. We had solutions for both problems to keep the basement dry and safe. We started with the CarbonArmor to stabilize the walls and keep the wall from moving any further. We then installed the DoubleSafe Sump Pump System which receives water from the drain system and expels it out of the home to keep the area free of water. Lastly, we installed the WaterGuard Drain System which will collect water that seeps into the basement and send it to the sump pump. This drain system is installed under the floor and the concrete is restored so there is no unsightly drain. All of these products install quickly and won't interfere with future basement finishing!
Scott and Kathleen had a competitor install a waterproofing system in their home that had a discharge line that dispelled water into their neighbor's yard. The lack of an extended discharge line away from the home meant that expelled water traveled right back into the home through the soil surrounding the house. We installed an extended discharge line at an angle that runs between the home and the neighboring home. We also installed the IceGuard Discharge Line System which is a fitting that is placed over the top of your discharge line in the event that water needs a secondary escape route. This prevents it from freezing.
