Barb had a dirt crawl space that was allowing pests into it. She wanted it closed off to keep things out of it as well as keeping it dry. We used Drainage Matting, the CleanSpace Liner, and the SaniDry Sedona to encapsulate the crawl space and keep it dry!
Mark realized moisture was entering his crawl space and causing mold growth. He knew this could lead to structural damage, so he called Ayers for help. Our specialists stopped by and recommended installing EverLast doors. Crawl space doors are often constructed of plywood or similar materials that fail to eliminate moisture. The EverLast door is made from a durable plastic that will not shrink, crack, or warp under certain conditions. Mark is happy his basement is dry!
The dirt floor crawl space in the before photo was built back in the ‘70s. The owners had noticed moisture and standing water in the crawl space. Not to mention, the home was also smelling a lot like dirt. Since they had recently redone the rest of the rental home, the owners wanted to improve on the previous tarp as the last step of the remodel. In the before photo, you can see how the old liner only covered the dirt floor and was taped up to the walls to keep water out. The new liner in the after photo is our CleanSpace system. CleanSpace is a moisture-impenetrable barrier that can keep out any water that comes through either the floor or walls. The white liner was the perfect way to end this home’s remodel.
This home built in the 1970’s has a dirt crawlspace that often had standing water in it. The owners had previously installed a liner to help seal off the space, but it wasn’t doing the trick. The old liner was no match for CleansSpace, the multi-layered plastic liner that allows for water drainage to the sump pump. Additionally, installing a dimpled matting underneath the liner helps create an air space for the water to flow to the sump pump on top of the floor. Encapsulating the crawl space with CleanSpace means that this space will be dry and usable.
Jacob was on the search for a door that would cover and protect his crawl space entrance. He noticed that Ayers sold doors meant for crawl spaces so he gave us a call. We sent out a crew to his home to go forward with the installation after we let him know our EverLast Doors would be perfect.
Our EverLast Doors are made from practically indestructible plastic and will do the most efficient job of sealing up his crawl space from harmful outside forces. You can also choose from several different colors if you're looking to have the door match the color scheme of the home. These doors won't ever warp, shrink, crack, or require any maintenance or painting. The seal on the door prevents air and water from getting in which protects against pests, moisture, as well as outside air. In addition to the door we also installed the EverLast Access Well to prevent water from leaking into the crawl space. These are much more efficient since they will never rust, rot, or corrode.
Jacob was very satisfied with the end result and is glad he doesn't have to worry about outside critters or other pests invading his crawl space!
