This customer had a garage wall that was cracked, bowing inward and he believed it was starting to settle as well. The garage wall had been like this for almost 3 years but it was time to get it fixed before the entire garage collapsed. 

We were able to install our wall anchor system to fix this garage wall. We placed 5 anchors on the wall that will work over-time to straighten it back to its original position. Wall anchors are very versatile because they can fix bowing walls, walls that are pushing in at the botttom and even ones that are just tipping in at the top. These anchors are also not attached to the floor system so you don't have to worry about any issues there. They also really restore property value and are quick installation. 

This customer noticed a crack had formed in his garage wall over the past few years. Stairstep cracks are a telltale sign that your wall is failing. A failing wall is not good for resale value and definitley not good for the saftey of you or your family. It's a good idea to get foundation issues addressed as soon as possible so it doesn't create more a problem. 

For this wall crack in the customers garage we were able to install our Wall Anchors to fix the problem. Wall anchors are a very versatile repair method because they can fix: bowed walls, walls that are tipping, and walls that are pushing inwward. These anchros are installed independently of the floor system so they are a good choice to fix very severe problems. They can also be tightened over time to make sure your wall is getting back to its original position. Wall anchors can be installed around pipes, vanities, sinkes, toilets and so much more which make them a great minimal disturbing choice for repairing your walls.

Buckling walls are never a good thing. Our professional team decided to use our patented PowerBrace foundation wall repair system. Steel I-beams that are secured to the joists above the wall support buckling, bowing, and tilting walls. This support allows for a safe environment for this Grand Rapids residence, as it could yours.

A crumbling wall is always cause for alarm. That fear only becomes worse when you realize that the problem threatens the rest of your foundation, as well. The support beams in this Grand Rapids, MI basement had started to sink, mostly due to the crumbling brick wall where the beams rested. The result was an unleveled first floor, windows that wouldn’t open, and cracks in the basement walls.  In the before photo, you can see the wood support beams before they were replaced by the crew for the more trustworthy SmartJack system. Because the beams weren’t the only problem in this basement, the concrete ledge where the beams sat was also replaced. After removing the wooden beams and replacing them with 8 different SmartJacks, the crew poured in the new concrete foundation to hold the jacks in place. Jacks, unlike typical support beams, can be adjusted in height. So the crew raised the floor until it reached a leveled height and then began their clean-up process. Not only will the SmartJacks even out the floor, they’ll take care of the sticking windows and the other problems associated with a sinking foundation. 

After deciding to hold off when we first visited years ago, our customer called because his leaking walls were getting worse. Upon inspection, we discovered that the walls were also bowing and needed to be stabilized.

We installed WaterGuard in the entire basement and covered the leaking walls with Brightwall panels, which are waterproof and inorganic and have the added benefit of a clean, bright appearance. They can also be tied into the WaterGuard system for extra waterproofing power.

After the Brightwall panels were installed, we used PowerBraces to stabilize the walls, and over time we will hopefully be able to straighten the walls by tightening the braces.
