This home in Traverse city was built into the side of a hill. Over time, soil has pushed the wall built into the hill, forcing it to tilt and crack. This is a big problem because the wall could collapse at any time. Our solution? The GeoLock Channel Anchor System. GeoLock Channel Anchors are perfect for stabilizing walls that are pushing in at the top or bottom, tipping, or bowing. They are also very durable, being made out of corrosion-resistant galvanized steel. This is a permanent stabilization solution and could even return your wall to its original condition. No more worrying about a wall collapsing with the GeoLock Channel Anchors.
Courtney called Ayers for help with her bowing wall in the basement. After our crew took a look at this issue it was decided she needed CarbonArmor. With this solution she will no longer have to worry about her important foundation walls since the carbon fiber straps we attach will hold the center of the wall in place so they don't bow. This carbon fiber material used is perfect because it is impossible to stretch with its high tensile. It will reduce any cracking in her wall and prevent inward movement. Courtney was very happy with these results.
Alisha had a support beam in her crawl space that was cracking and it was causing her floors to become uneven. We installed the SmartJack Crawl Space Support System to stabilize the beam and support the floors above. This system not only stops further sinking and cracking but will raise the floors back up to a level position!
A business’s cement floor had dropped at least half an inch which created tripping hazards. So we installed PolyLevel which is a system designed to fix concrete slabs that have sunk. It uses a polyurethane foam that expands and has a high density in order to raise the concrete. The process is quite simple and is done by drilling small holes into the concrete and then inserting the foam into the holes. Also, the PolyLevel system is waterproof and long-lasting.
A customer from Orleans wanted help with her floors that were starting to droop. We gave her a free estimate and then decided that we need to install Smart Jacks underneath the floor (in the crawlspace) to reinforce the structure of the floor. The SmartJack is a support system used to stabilize and level the floor joists in a crawl space. This system can support up to 60,000 pounds. The SmartJack system is placed on strong concrete fillings that have replaced the soil in that small location underneath the SmartJack. Now this homeowner should never worry again about their droopy floors.
