Lori and Richmond have staircase cracks on their basment walls noticed the walls are starting to bow. We installed the PowerBrace Foundation Wall Repair System to makse sure the walls could not move anymore. This system is made up of steel beams that are secured to the joists above the wall with steel brackets. They stop further damage to the walls and could potentially straghten the wall back to the original position. It installs quickly with minimal disruption to your basement.
Liam just moved into his home when he notcied that during heavy rain, a steady stream of water was coming through some cracks in the basement. There was no standing water, it had drained but he didn't want water coming in at all so he called us. We installed CarbonArmor to stabilize the wall. The CarbonArmor System is made up of flexible carbon fiber fabric straps that are up to 10 times stronger in tension than steel. These straps are bonded to the wall using high strength epoxy resin. This system requires no exterior excavation, installs quickly, and won't impact future basement finishing.

It has bothered them ever since but now they thing the crack is slowly getting worse and wanted a solution. We used GeoLock Wall Anchors to halt further movement of the walls. There is minimal disruption to the yard and the anchors do not take up usable space in the basement!
William’s wall withstood 30 years of bowing and finally started cracking pretty significantly. There were no signs of intruding water yet however it was sure to follow after the crack got deeper and wider. William called our team and we came out and installed GeoLock Wall Anchors. The Geo-Lock Wall Anchor System repairs walls that are sliding inwards, bowing, or buckling. A wall anchor will be installed inside your home and extend outward towards stable, hard-packed soil around your home to anchor it in place. This prevents any further movement permanently and is installed with minimal disruption to your home or your lawn. We can even conceal the anchors with our Hide-A-Way covers for a more finished appearance. Now William's wall will return to standing tall and strong like the day he built the house and intruding water won't be a concern.
Amanda and Andrew have been through quite a journey after purchasing their new lake home in 2023. After experiencing water intrusion in their crawl space, they took the proactive steps of having a sump pump installed to manage the situation effectively. After the installation of the sump pump in December 2023, knowing it would be their forever home, a place they cherish and plan to pass down to their children, they decided to get the foundation inspected as well a year later. Understandably, they want to ensure the foundation remains stable and secure for the future. Having already invested in some new work, it's concerning for them to notice the area starting to settle. The emergence of new cracks along with existing ones reopening can understandably be worrisome. Amanda even mentioned that certain sides of the home have begun making noises reminiscent of previous issues, adding to their anxiety. With plans to add onto their beloved home, they are rightfully seeking assurance that everything regarding the foundation is solid. Thankfully, with the installation of our SmartJacks support posts in the crawl space, Amanda and Andrew's home is now stable and secure. It's heartening to know that we could help them protect their investment and provide peace of mind as they move forward with their plans.
