We answered a call from Candase, a worried homeowner who was unsure what to do about her failing foundation support. We reassured her that after our experts inspected her home, we would be able to solve these issues with one of our foundation repair systems. Our System Design Specialists determined Helical Piers would work best for her particular situation. This system consists of helical plates welded to the pier shaft and will help to pull the pier into the soil during installation. This provides anchoring strength as the weight of the foundation or structural element is transferred to the pier. This solution is very versatile when it comes to stabilizing and restoring foundations. This solution will prevent any further foundation settling and in many cases, it can lift the home back to a level position. Candase will no longer have to stress over her foundation support!
Marilynn noticed that her retaining wall was deteriorating, and large cracks had formed. These issues worried her, and she contacted us at Ayers Basement Systems to find a solution. An Inspection of the area determined that Geo-Lock Wall Anchors would be perfect for the situation. Geo-Lock Wall Anchors Utilize load-bearing plates and steel rods to create a pulling force against the wall. Once the system was set, the team was able to tighten the system and permanently stabilize Marilynn's retaining wall!
Leslie worried the cracks in her foundation walls would grow and deepen in the future. She didn't want structural damage to her home, so she researched and called Ayers for help. We sent a team of experts to her house, and they installed the PowerBrace repair system to secure the wall and prevent further damage. The PowerBrace system connects steel beams to joists above the wall with steel brackets. Once everything is in place and tightened, the wall will be stabilized to the desired position. Leslie is relieved her wall is supported now!
Roger noticed the family room in his log cabin starting to sink due to poor crawl space support. We answered his call and sent an Ayers crew to install support structures called SmartJacks. The steel jacks are attached to the floor joists above and rest on a sturdy base within the ground. SmartJacks effectively support sagging beams and floor joists. Roger is grateful for the permanent support provided!
Al noticed cracks in his garage wall and worried it would eventually cave inward. He researched his options and called Ayers for help. Our professionals visited his home and recommended the Supportworks GeoLock wall anchors. This wall anchor system is designed to be heavy-duty and firmly planted in undisturbed, solid soil. The anchors from the wall and ground are connected by a steel rod, which tightens to stabilize the wall. Al is relieved he took action and got the job finished!
