The homeowners in Paw Paw, MI wanted to sell their home. When an offer was made, the buyer requested that some of the water problems in the basement be fixed. The homeowners relied on their real estate agent to help with communication and she suggested Ayers for the job. After negotiation and a free inspection from Ayers, it was decided to install a full waterproofing system, including WaterGuard, a triplesafe sump pump, and IceGuard discharge lines. With the installation, the home now has a lifetime warranty to ensure that the new homeowner will have a dry and secure basement in the future.

The homeowners had water seeping into their basement where the floor and the wall meets. So much water was getting in that it turned their finished basement into a partially finished basement because the water caused so much damage. 

Our professional team knew something needed to be done. Our team installed the WaterGuard long lasting interior perimeter drainage system. The product sits on the top of the footing in the basement in order to prevent clogging from mud and other debris. WaterGuard works by trapping water seepage from the floors and walls into its drainage system before it does any damage to your basement. Once the system catches the water in the drain it takes it directly to the sump pump. From there, the sump pump removes the water from your basement keeping it nice and dry! 

The before picture shows the WaterGuard system being installed and the after picture shows the system once it is all installed and covered with a clean and fresh layer of concrete. 

Tony's basement was flooded so he called our team. In addition to installing other systems we installed TripleSafe, a sump pump system that’s main goal is to keep your basement dry. It provides ultimate protection against all basement leakage and any moisture problems because it has three pumps within this one system. One of the pumps is battery powered so that the system can work even during power outages.

Water was flooding Tony's basement so our team installed the IceGuard Sump Pump Discharge Line System in addition to other systems. This system allows water to leave even when the discharge line is frozen. Therefore, this system prevents flooding even in freezing temperatures or when the snow is piled up high.

Our team insulated Katie and Jonathan’s rim joists because they were dealing with water intrusion and mold growth in their crawl space. Small cracks and seams can exist around rim joists, but after insulating them all of those cracks are sealed off. Now flow is restricted keeping moisture and unwanted allergens out.
