Installing an Egress Window in Zeeland MI

Laurie and Vern have block windows in their finished basement but are creating a bedroom in the area for their granddaughter. They want the space to be safe for her and her child so they called us about an Egress window. We installed the Egress window and well for them. The window is large enough to allow safe exit out of the space in case of an emergency as well as allow more natural light to enter the room making the space feel more inviting. The window well is made up of one piece so it will not collapse from backfill or allow water to leak through the well walls. It is also engineered for safety and includes a built in ladder for easy escape.

WaterGuard System Permanently Solves Zeeland, MI Homeowner's Pesky Wall Leaks

Chris was stressed over some pesky wall leaks that were happening in his basement over the last five years. Overwhelmed with this issue he finally had enough and decided to call Ayers. We sent a crew to his home for a free inspection and our System Design Specialists concluded that our WaterGuard System would provide the perfect resolution to what felt like a never-ending nightmare!

We went forward with installing WaterGuard because this sub-floor drainage system that runs along the perimeter of your basement and keeps water or dirt away from your foundation. The water leaking in through the basement walls would be carried to the drainage pipes rather than your floor and will then be directed to your sump pump system. The gray WaterGuard Port is there for inspections so our crew can easily access the system if necessary in the future.

Chris was very relieved to finally get these irritating wall leaks resolved with a trustworthy waterproofing solution!

Zeeland, MI Family Solves Basement Water Issues with Ayers' Solutions

Kari and Bill of Zeeland, MI, were experiencing water intrusion in their partially finished 1918 basement. Concerned about long-term damage and stability, they reached out to Ayers. Our team designed a customized solution, starting with push piers and wall anchors to stabilize the foundation, followed by the EverBrace™ Wall Restoration System for added structural support. We then installed a WaterGuard® Drainage System to manage water intrusion and protect the space. Now, their basement is dry, secure, and ready for the future.

Bowing Walls in Free Soil, Mi

Jon was experiencing bowing walls in his basement and it was clear to even the untrained eye. Jon knew the job required professional help so he contacted Ayers. Our foreman Evan was able to inspect the area and found no signs of water within the home. This meant he and his team could focus on stabilizing the wall.

The wall was showing clear cracks and with a glance, anyone could tell the wall had a curve to it. Evan and his team used a GeoLock anchor to correct the wall. A GeoLock anchor is installed by excavating the ground surrounding the compromised wall and installing a base that is secured into place with deep steel drives. On the opposite side, inside the home, a large metal plate is placed directly on top of the center of the cracking and secured to the wall with screws. The two pieces are bolted together and tightened till constant pressure is present. This pressure pulls the wall back into place and provides a permanent source of stabilization for the wall.
