In July 2016 after a big rainstorm that hit the Albert Lea, MN area our customer Elroy & Shannon found themselves with a flooded basement. A problem they never had before, but clearly had found out fast that this would not be the last time.
When the installation team arrived to begin the installation, you can see just how much water was underneath their foundation after opening up the floor to install a sump pump and complete waterproofing system.
"The crew were very good with the installment of the system, and explained all that was done."
Shannon contacted our company because their block foundation was failing to cause cracking walls that needed stabilization.
Our system design specialist Ronald Schulz designed a solution to stabilize the foundation wall with our patented PowerBrace wall system. The walls are now stabilized with no more need for them to worry. We also replaced some of their existing basement windows with 3 of our Standard Everlast Windows. Shannon was is enthusiastic that the new windows let in so much more light into their basement!
They were pleased that the installation crew was very professional, and informative and did a wonderful job cleaning up!
Our customer met with Complete Basement Systems at a nearby Home Show and was in need of some help drying up their basement.
Our most reliable sump pump system, the TripleSafe provides our customer in Montgomery with three levels of protection for their basement and will leave them with peace of mind the next heavy rain or power outage that their basement will remain dry!
The TripleSafe sump pump has a 1/3 hp motor that can discharge 2,200 gallons of water per hour, it also has a 1/2 hp motor that can pump an additional 3,900 gallons of water per hour. Lastly the UltraSump Battery Backup System also installed can pump more than 11,500 gallons of water on a full charge. Wow! Yes that's a lot of water!
A homeowner in New Prague, MN, started noticing signs of trouble in his basement; most concerning were several foundation walls that had begun to bow inward. While the basement was still usable, the movement was a clear warning that pressure from the surrounding soil was taking its toll. He wanted to address the issue early, before the walls worsened and repairs became more invasive and costly.
Our team stabilized the foundation using the proven PowerBrace System, which is designed to stop wall movement and protect the structure in the long term. The steel beams were custom-fit and secured from floor to joist, immediately reinforcing the walls and preventing further bowing. With the PowerBrace system in place, the homeowner now has peace of mind knowing his basement walls are protected, his home’s structural integrity is preserved, and the problem was handled before it became a major repair.
