Our customer needed help with water always coming into their basement. Wayne & Joanne were tired of the clean up mess and called in a professional.
Our System design specialist designed a permanent waterproofing system to control water entering into the basement using our WaterGuard Drainage System and a new SuperSump Pump system. This homeowner had a block wall in the basement that was bowing quite severely. Bowing walls are caused by hydrostatic pressure and expansive soils on the outside of your foundation. When the clay soil around your home absorbs water, it expands and pushes against the foundation. It's important to stop the wall from bowing or leaning any further. If this homeowner would have waited much longer, the wall could have collapsed and caused irreparable damage to the structure of his home.
We installed our PowerBrace Wall Support System is designed to stabilize failing basement walls and provide the potential to straighten walls over time with regular tightening. This system requires NO outside excavation. The system we installed in this home was done in one day!
Let us know if you have bowing or leaning walls that you would like a solution for. Our PowerBrace System might be right for you!
Brandon & Shelby of Marshall, MN were in the process of selling a home when they noticed a section of the basement wall was bowing inward.
Overtime block foundation can develop cracks due to hydrostatic pressure against the foundation wall which can cause bowing. The solution is our patented PowerBrace support system to stabilize the wall from further movement. Our customer can now sell the home given peace of mind.
A homeowner in Marshall, MN noticed a horizontal crack running down one of their basement walls. At first, it didn’t seem like much, but over time, the crack grew, and the wall began to bow slightly inward. This was a sign that the foundation wall was under pressure from the surrounding soil.
Understandably, the homeowner became concerned. They wanted to protect their home and make sure the problem didn’t get worse. That’s when they reached out to our team for a professional evaluation and some helpful guidance on what could be done.
After a thorough inspection, we recommended installing our PowerBrace Wall Support System. This system uses strong, zinc-coated steel beams that attach securely from the basement floor to the floor joists above. The PowerBrace system immediately stabilizes the wall to prevent any further movement, while also allowing for adjustments over time to help bring the wall back toward its original position.
Once the system was in place, the homeowner felt a huge sense of relief. Their basement wall was now supported, their foundation was protected, and they could feel confident knowing the problem had been properly addressed.
At the end of the day, our goal is always to help homeowners understand their foundation issues and find the best, most reliable solution for their home’s long-term safety and stability.
