This customer was gone away on business often. He needed peace of mind that his basement wasn't going to flood while he was gone. Our salesman, Dave had a great solution for him, it was the Homesitter 700. This device connects to the sump system and will notify the owner via phone call if there are any problems with the sump system. You can remotely access the alarm with your cell phone to shut the alarm down.
These customers in Brainerd, MN opted for DryTrak and drain tile in hopes of keeping their basement dry in the upcoming soggy spring months. We had to cut the walls and floors in preparation of the installation of the DryTrak. This basement is unique because it is built on a monolithic foundation which means that the foundation has only 2 pieces. We also installed a drain tile system that deals with the hydrostatic pressure coming up from the floor. Both of the water removal systems were routed to the new sump location.
This customer had an issue with her landscaping. It was flat and encouraged water to more easily come into the foundation.
An example of our sump pump and the excellent work our crew can do!
The origin of the basement dampness came from the beautiful area around the house that happened to be a lake with high water table, causing the wet basement problem.
