A homeowner in Hopkins, MN, disliked the appearance of their sunken sidewalk. Wanting to avoid concrete replacement, the homeowner began looking into concrete lifting and leveling options closest to them. At the top of the list was us, American Waterworks, so the homeowner took a closer look at our products. Once they saw our impressive list of concrete lifting products and high reviews, the homeowner knew we were the best company for them. The homeowner called our Appointment Center and signed up for their FREE estimate. After the estimate was set, the homeowner awaited the arrival of one of our Design Specialists. The Design Specialist promptly arrived and started his detailed walk-through of the concrete surrounding the home. Following his walk-through, the Design Specialist determined the sidewalk was sinking due to settlement. To stop the settlement from continuing, the Design Specialist suggested lifting the sidewalk and patio with our PolyLevel solution. After some consideration, the homeowner knew that this was their best option. Once the homeowner and office gave the stamp of approval, the plans were sent to our Foreman, Troy, and his crew. Troy and his crew arrived at the home and started lifting and patio with PolyLevel, a polyurethane foam injection solution. After Troy and his crew successfully lifted the sidewalk and patio back to its original place, the crew shifted their focus to replacing all the sidewalk joints using the NexusPro Sealant, a silicone-based solution. Finally, the crew wrapped up the projects and cleaned up their materials. The homeowner was happy to know their sidewalk was able to be lifted and leveled back to its original state. American Waterworks is happy to assist its customers with their concrete concerns.
A homeowner in Hopkins, MN, disliked the look of their uneven, cracked stairs and walkway. Hoping to avoid replacing the concrete, the homeowner looked into "concrete repair services near me". One of the first companies to grab their attention was us, American Waterworks, so the homeowner decided to sign up for their FREE estimate. A few days later, Greg arrived at the home and started the thorough inspection of the exterior concrete. During the evaluation, Greg identified several areas that were experiencing settlement. To prevent this issue from worsening, Greg recommended installing PolyLevel throughout the struggling concrete. Knowing this was the best plan of action, the homeowner decided to go ahead with the proposal. Next, the homeowner worked with Greg to find the best installation date. When the date was selected, our Foreman, Jordan, and his crew traveled to the home to begin the installation. First, Jordan and his crew inserted PolyLevel, a polyurthane foam injection solution, below the sinking concrete. After the PolyLevel was secured, the crew shifted to filling the joints and cracks with NexusPro, a silicone-based solution. Roger D. in Adams, MN had a driveway that sunk 2-3 below the concrete garage floor. He was frustrated with the trip hazard it created, and the large bump they experienced every time they drove in and out of their garage. He saw a commercial for American Waterworks on the television and saw that we offer concrete repair. He gave us a call to receive a free estimate, so we sent a Design Specialist to his home to inspect his concrete and provide him with a solution. Roger was pleased with the design we presented him with, so he scheduled a date for the concrete repair.
One of our PolyLevel experts, Jared Wroblewski, drilled small holes into the concrete slabs where they needed to be raised. Then, he injection our PolyLevel foam into the holes until the concrete was raised to be level with the garage floor. Once the concrete was level, he filled back the holes he drilled with concrete and filled the cracks in the concrete with our Nexus Pro sealant. He also did this process with Roger’s sidewalk. Roger was very pleased with the final outcome and he will now be able to enjoy beautiful, level concrete.
