The homeowner has lived in his home for 20 years and knew he needed to fix his crawl space. It has been collecting moisture and began to settle, causing uneven floors. The main beam had settled 1 1/2 inches and had extremely high moisture content causing mold and rot.
We Installed SmartJacks to lift the settled beam and encapsulated crawlspace with CleanSpace. To help with the moisture, we installed a SmartSump and dehumidifier.
They had a moisture issue that was leaving a damp musty smell in the house and cold floors. They wanted to control the moisture while helping keep the crawlspace dry
We used clean space to control the soil moisture and silver glow to put in the rim joist to help keep the home's value up and heat trapped inside the house. We also reinstalled a sump pump to help keep water from sitting under the house.
A homeowner in the Kansas City area called us out because there was a musty smell in her home, causing not only her allergies to get worse, but her partner had started to suffer from the smell. She was quite worried about her partner and her friend had recommended us because we had fixed a similar issue for them.
We sent System Design Specialist Jared Matwich to discuss the problem with the homeowner and determine what solutions could be used to get rid of this musty smell. Jared explored the crawlspace underneath the home and found that the high humidity levels were causing the musty smell throughout the home. Jared called for a team to help him install a CleanSpace Vapor Barrier and a SaniDry Dehumidifier to encapsulate or isolate the crawlspace and regulate the air quality in not only the crawlspace, but the entire home.
These solutions had a huge impact on the quality of life for the homeowners and their health has improved since we were able to isolate the crawlspace air and regulate the humidity spreading to the whole house. They were super impressed with the crew and the work that was done, and our crew was extremely happy that they were able to help improve the health of these homeowners. Check out the encapsulated crawlspace!
These homeowners own a buy and resell business. They noticed they were experiencing some moisture in their basement, and knew they needed to get this fixed fast. They called Thrasher Foundation Repair and System Design Specialist, Cody Shipley, came out to help. Together, they decided on CleanSpace and WaterGuard. CleanSpace is used as a barrier to keep water out. The water goes down the CleanSpace and into the WaterGuard, which will flow to a sump pump and out of the home. There is no doubt these homeowners will be able to run their business without worry of water damage!
This homeowner noticed a few sagging points in his floor and he wanted this problem fixed quickly, so he decided to give us a call. We sent System Design Specialist Brock Jackson to inspect the homeowners crawlspace and determine what was causing the floors to sag as well as determine what solutions would be best to fix this problem. Brock found that the sagging parts of the floor were due to moisture in the crawlspace and that support structures were weakened by this problem. He knew just how to solve this, so he called for an installation team to come to the home and start encapsulating the crawlspace to prevent further damage. The installation team utilized CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to encapsulate the crawlspace, then they addressed the sagging floors issue by installing SmartJacks and a supplemental support beam to strengthen the structure. To further protect the home and prevent any problems from happening again, they installed a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier. The homeowner was very happy with the results because al of his problems were addressed quickly and efficiently. Check out the before and after!
