This was a long-time rental home that was experiencing deflection. Saturated soils around the home foundation were causing wall failure on all three of her exterior basement walls.  Additionally, water was coming in through foundation cracks and through the cold joint, saturating the carpet and damaging the finished walls. To fix this issue permanently, our Denver crew got busy to install our PowerBraces to stabilize the foundation walls and install a full perimeter waterproofing system with WaterGuard and CleanSpace. These systems are the best solutions to prevent further wall and water damage. 

In Colorado, the soil can cause problems for many foundations. This home was built on special supports called caissons to stop it from sinking into the soil. But there was a mistake—the house sank and twisted because the foundation was too heavy for the caissons. Other contractors thought the walls were leaning, but that wasn't the real problem. Even the engineer didn't put the support piers in the right place to stabilize the whole house.

To fix it, we made a plan to install piers all around the house to stop the home from sinking and to stabilize the foundation. We also used smart jacks to support the main beam in the middle of the house. 

Before Thrasher fixed the problems, the homeowner wasn't allowed to sell the house because of the problems it had. But when we fixed it, they said the crews did a good job and finished on time. They were so happy that they even asked us to do more work with concrete for them. They trusted us with their home and we hope you can too.

This homeowner was experiencing structural foundation issues at this home he was looking to sell. Anthony found three of the foundation walls were failing and were in poor condition. Anthony worked with the homeowners engineer with findings of poor soil pushing in and causing stress throughout the crawlspace. With these findings, Anthony went back to the homeowner with a solution. We were able to install Everbrace to restore two of the walls and helical piers on the wall that lacked proper footing. The homeowner and real estate agent were happy with our process and how easy it was to get it all done. There is no doubt the new homeowners of this property are happy with the transferrable warranty, and feel safe in their new home. 

This homeowner was selling his home, when it got flagged for inspection due to structural issues. He was unsure what the problem was, because all he had noticed were a few cracks in the walls. Knowing that he needed a professional opinion before he would be able to sell his house, he decided to give us a call.

We sent System Design Specialist Anthony Salcedo to inspect the homeowner's foundation and determine what was causing the wall cracks and the home to be flagged for structural issues, as well as to suggest solutions to make the home available for sale. Anthony found that the home had an internal support beam that was in great shape, however the supports underneath this were sinking into the earth, thus causing the structural issues. He knew that SmartJacks were needed to support the home's support beam, so he called an installation team out to install 5 SmartJacks in order to permanently support and stabilize the floor.

This homeowner was ready to remodel the upstairs of her home, when she noticed that all the floors were sloping towards the middle of the home. She recognized that something was wrong and unstable about her home, so she wanted to fix this issue before remodeling. She gave us a call to have an inspection done on her home.

We sent System Design Specialist Anthony Salcedo to inspect the foundation and give the customer a comprehensive explanation of the problem. Anthony noticed that the floors were sagging due to an interior support beam that was sloping significantly due to a lack of support posts. Anthony and his team knew just what to do, so they began work right away when the customer decided on the solution she would move forward with. The team removed both existing posts and began drilling two helical soil nails deep into the earth. The Helical Piers System can support our SmartJacks, which were then installed so that the home's support beam now has proper support posts that run deep into the earth.
