Homeowner Jill bought her home in the fall. And in the winter, her pipes froze and burst. This is her forever home so she knew she had to do something. She remembered her brother recently used Thrasher to waterproof his home, so she decided to give us a call, too. Once we sent our System Design Specialist, Jesse White, out to her home, we were able to identify the problem. Upon inspection, we found her crawlspace was uninsulated and not encapsulated.
Jesse came up with a plan and sent our install team out to work their magic. We ended up encapsulating and insulating to keep the interior of the crawl space clean and dry. On top of that, we also installed a SaniDry Dehumidifier to help keep the space dry.
Now Jill can rest knowing her home is protected and her pipes are prepared for the following winter.
Jill was so excited to move into her new home last year, until winter hit. Her crawlspace felt the temperature when the cold hit, causing her waterlines to freeze and burst. This is her long term home and wants peace of mind this won't happen again this year. She called in Thrasher, and one of our System Design Specialists came out to help. To keep the temperature regulated in her crawl space, we installed our crawlspace encapsulation called Cleanspace. Cleanspace helps keep the outside dirt and cold on the outside, keeping your whole house warmer in the cold months, and cooler in the warmer months. Check out the before and after here!
This homeowner was experiencing water in his basement whenever it rained. It got him worried his walls were going to cave in, and since this is his forever home, it's important to him to take care of it. He called Thrasher to come out for a free inspection and Nate Franson visited the home to see what was going on. Nate determined that water was entering through the cold joints and wall cracks, with two walls deflected. To fix this issue, we installed WaterGuard and CleanSpace to effectively drain the water; TripleSafe and PowerBrace to support the failing walls.
The homeowner was happy we were able to save him from having to move again. His forever home is now dry and stable.
This customer was worried about his walkway gradually sinking and crushing the sewer line. When we inspected, we knew just the fix. We were able to link the settling concrete slab with PolyLevel, our polyurethane foam that is injected beneath the slab and then lifts and stabilizes the concrete back to its original position.
This customer was selling her home and called us to ensure there would be no surprises during closing. When we inspected, we found inward wall movement on her foundation walls. Due to expansive clay soil, one of the walls moved inward more than 1/2 inch and started to crack. To fix this, we installed our Caron Armor Wall Support system. This system stops inward wall movement caused by hydrostatic pressure.
