Clara R. is a homeowner in Emporia, KS, and has been struggling with water in the basement for a long time. To begin the waterproofing project, our System Design Specialist, Josh Brown, arrived at the home in Emporia, KS, and performed a full inspection on the wet basement. Josh determined that water was seeping through the basement walls from the lack of cold joints in the home’s foundation. To permanently fix this, our teams installed our ultimate basement waterproofing solution – WaterGuard, CleanSpace, and a TripleSafe sump pump system. WaterGuard is our interior basement drainage system that traps all water and drains through the sump pump system. CleanSpace is an innovative waterproof barrier that is applied to the walls to contain moisture and guide water into the WaterGuard drainage system. Our TripleSafe system is the most reliable sump pump available, and it’s guaranteed to keep the basement dry year-round. These three products work together to give the home the waterproofing it needs.

This homeowner wanted to ensure that her basement was safe and waterproofed so that she could start using it as extended living space. She had used our services in a prior home, so she knew just who to call when it came to her new waterproofing needs.

We sent Service Technician Andrew Davis to inspect the basement and determine what was preventing her from using this space now as well as install solutions to fix the found problems. Andrew found that one of the walls containing a shelf was deflecting inward, causing an unstable foundation wall and some water to start leaking in through the cracks in the wall. He knew just how to fix this problem, so after discussing his solution with the homeowner, he got right to work on installing PowerBraces to help push back the wall over time, then he installed Waterguard Interior Drainage System and CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to effectively waterproof the basement space.

This customer's foundation was close to failure and needed support. we installed EverBraces, which permanently stabilizes failing foundation walls and prevent future damage. The system is designed with features such as zinc-coated steel for corrosion resistance, minimal installation time, easy concealment, and compatibility with basement waterproofing systems. It is suitable for use on fieldstone, clay block, and brick foundation walls.

The EverBrace wall system was able to permanently stabilize and support this failing foundation. The steel beams and panels are able to transfer the weight of the home off the wall and onto the new wall system!

This customer was getting ready to sell her house and didn't want water damage to prevent the sale. So she called Thrasher to come out and inspect her home. Upon inspection, we found that the home's foundation had a lot of damage with moisture, broken walls, and sagging beams. To fix these issues, we installed WaterGuard, a full wall of CleanSpace, and installed a TripleSafe sump pump to control water. We swapped some anchor plates under warranty, we added new PowerBraces to another wall for more support. And we also added supplemental beams and Smart Jacks to support failing beams and sagging joists.

The customer was very happy with how everything turned out and relieved she didn't have to worry about these issues anymore.
