We have a home in Kearney Ontario that was always prone to spring water levels entering the home. The previous owners had Clarke Basements install a complete interior floor and wall system with two heavy duty pumps in 2016. Since purchasing this home in 2017 we have kept up the yearly inspection and maintenance they offer as well as transferred the lifetime warranty. We just went through the highest water level spring conditions in recent history and our home stayed dry. Good Day,  It certainly is a good day for us.  After a nightmarish 2 years we finally have a basement solution that can put our minds at ease.  I am writing to thank the entire Clarke Basement team, from the secretaries, Robert in the office, the work crews and especially the team leaders Lucio and most recently Jose who have been with me and my family every step of the way to provide my family with solutions, support and excellent service.  It was not an easy task, as we had to overcome quite a few challenges to finally solve the problem. Although we had to lose our basement and create a crawl space, I found comfort in knowing that Clarke Basements did everything they could to salvage the basement. When that was not possible they provided an alternative which we accepted and came to terms with.  When they finally did complete the work and finished the crawl space I was very pleased with the result. There was excellent communication every step of the way. The workmanship was outstanding and the service was superb. I would like to thank Jose especially for his honesty and personal touch. He takes pride in his work and made sure that he attended to every detail. Thank you Jose.  I especially want to thank Robert Langdon. Robert was instrumental through the entire process. From the first time I met him up until we completed the job yesterday, Robert was there to provide options and solutions, to answer any questions at anytime, including the weekends and evenings. He walked me through every detail and made sure everything was explained and that I was comfortable with everything, every step of the way.   We had a propane furnace and generator installed this summer in the crawl space of our cottage. Our crawl space has a dirt floor. Once the vents were cut into the floors the musty, damp smell started to come up through the vents. We remembered talking to somebody from Clarke Basement Systems at the Cottage Life Show a couple of years ago about encapsulating a crawl space. We looked them up on the internet and requested information and a meeting to see what could be done. After going over the information and meeting up with Robert we booked our installation on the spot. Once our job was booked we received follow-up confirmations. When our installers Lucio, Pedro and Adam arrived Monday morning I was immediately impressed with their professionalism. Lucio and I went over what was going to be done while Adam and Pedro got right to organizing and clearing out the area they were going to be working. Throughout the day I was made aware of what they were doing and asked if I had any concerns. When they were done for the day the area was left clean. They arrived promptly on Tuesday to finish up. When done I was asked to walk around the area with them and make sure I was happy with the job. Any concerns I had were dealt with right away. I have already noticed the musty, damp smell is gone upstairs in the cottage. I would recommend Clarke Basement Systems. It was a positive experience right from the beginning to the end.

An increasing leak problem in the cold cellar beneath the main house entranceway led to a call to Clarke Basement Systems. From that moment onward, I was treated with complete courtesy and respect. Although I had to wait several weeks for an estimate, the wait was definitely worth it. Steve presented me with a clear overview of the steps necessary to fix the problem. Luke and his crew completed the work in a very professional manner, keeping me informed of the step-by-step process. Two months after the installation was finished, a small leak occurred following a heavy all-day rainfall. My call to the Clarke office was handled by Amber and Rob with complete courtesy and respect. One day later, Luke returned to my house, inspected the problem, and made the necessary repairs to my basement system. The clincher for me is that throughout this entire process I was treated as a respected client. "You get what you pay for" and Clarke Basement Systems certainly gets my recommendation.

Clarke Basement Systems was suggested to me by my brother-in-law. When Steve, from Clarke Basement Systems, came out to my house to assess the basement, he was helpful, polite and very patient with all my questions and concerns. He provided a couple of repair options and didn't pressure me to make a decision on the spot, which I appreciated. In the end, I decided to go with installing a Water Guard perimeter waterproofing system with a Thermal Dry Wall membrane on the exterior wall that was leaking. The guys who showed up to install these products, Fitz and Brandon, were also very polite, helpful, and respectful of my house. They explained what exactly they were doing and how it would work. They walked me through every step of the project. The guys showed up on time and used their time efficiently to get the job done. The clean up was great and the imprint of my daughter's hand in the freshly poured cement was a wonderful touch. We've had a heavy rain since the work was done, and so far the basement has remained dry. It is so nice not to have to worry about a wet basement during a summer storm. I would definitely recommend Clarke Basement Systems to family and friends.

When water appeared nearly 2 years after the initial repair of the wall and the installation of the interior weeping tile system in our house, we immediately feared the worst, that in some way, some how the system was now compromised.We immediately called the main number and Rob came to investigate in order to determine the cause. He was confident that Clarke's system was not the cause but he was determined to find it and he scheduled another visit this time with Steve (our salesman) who had an infra red camera and it didn't take them both long to determine that the source was a plumbing leak related to the shower. Needless to say we are relieved that the source wasn't related to the Clarke's installation and through the whole discovery process both Rob and Steve were both concerned for our problem and courteous and polite during what started out as a very emotional experience.Rob and Steve's confidence in their product and installation process was once again confirmed, and our experience with their after sales support reaffirms in our minds that we chose the right solution, from the right company with the right people.

The assessment & quote were completed by Ben Wallis very thoroughly with full explanation given for cause of leaks and solutions outlined. He gave me confidence in the work that was to be done and the warranty behind the work. On the scheduled work day, Brendan & Anthony arrived promptly and completed the R20 installation as planned, very professional. Part two of the job, the Flexispan crack repair required more time than expected due to injections but Brendan returned 2 days later to complete the work. His attention to detail and follow up was truly professional. He is a conscientious person & demonstrates strong values towards customer service....first class !
