We have a sunroom addition that had been installed by a previous owner. Due to a combination of poor soil and what appeared to be supports installed at inadequate depths the structure had settled. We hired Clarke Basement Systems to install their SmartJack system to stabilize the structure. Using the SmartJacks they also raised one of the corners of the sunroom which brought windows and doors back into alignment. It was like night and day to have doors that no longer stuck when attempting to open them. From meeting with Ron who came to assess the job and provide a quote through to booking and work completion communication was excellent. The job took two days and it was heavy work. It gave us added comfort that Don Clarke (owner) was on site throughout, working with his installation team. He was very patient and courteous in walking us through what they were doing as the job unfolded. Our experience was positive and we would not hesitate to hire Clarke Basement Systems again should the need arise.

Ali serviced our sump pump. He was knowledgeable and extremely helpful with a problem we had with where the sump pump was discharging. Highly recommend.

We have been dealing with a wet basement for over 20 years. From the first email until Ali left the house, this well done. We received an email back right away from the first inquiry. Tibor helped not only with the actual problem, but gave a LOT of tips for the rest of the house. We were offered more than expected for the same price! Ali was clean (!), conscientious (especially about the noise), and very thorough. What a great company through and through!

A seal around the cement patio and house was done to the gap to prevent water flow into the foundation.

We bought a renovated bungalow and after we moved in, we saw that there was condensation in the cold room. This company was recommended to us by another company who said they were experts in fixing cold rooms. Well, they didn’t lie! From the first phone call to Don and his team completing the work, we were highly pleased with the service and the work. They even went above and beyond by alerting us to a window well which was accumulating water due to the snow thaw, and promptly fixed our downspout to drain the water away from the house. Clarke Basement Systems installed my inside weeping tiles about 13 years ago and did a fantastic job. I then had a sump pump installed that, in case of a hydro outage, I would not have to worry about water seeping in. It was the best move I ever made....costly at first, but well worth it! I am extremely happy with all the work and services they have done for me, and in answering any questions I have had. I fully endorse Clarke Basement Systems to do all they claim!
