Mr. Dube, our client located in Ajax, Ontario, was struggling with water infiltration in his basement. He had previously gotten our team to install a TripleSafe™ Sump Pump System, but now wanted to know more about our innovative WaterGuard below floor basement drainage system. Our specialist Jason travelled to Ajax to inspect his basement and give him a free quote for the installation of the WaterGuard. Mr. Dube accepted his proposition on the spot, and we scheduled a date to come for the installation. Foreman Colin and his team drove down on the scheduled date and got to work. First, they dug a trench in the slab around the basement walls and to the TripleSafe™ in order to connect it. They then placed the WaterGuard system inside and filled the trench with cement, ensuring the drainage system is out of view. Our team encapsulated the space with our CleanSpace® vapor barrier, giving it a bright, clean, and protective seal. To help manage any sneaky groundwater, we added CleanSpace Drainage Matting and the EZ Flow® Drain System, both designed to direct water exactly where it should go—straight into the SmartSump®, a reliable sump pump made specifically for crawl spaces.

To tackle the humidity for good, we installed a SaniDry Sedona® dehumidifier, one of the most efficient models on the market. It keeps moisture levels low and mold out of the picture. And since Ontario winters can be unforgiving, we also installed an IceGuard® system to ensure the discharge line stays clear, even when temperatures drop below freezing.
