In Woodbridge, VA, a homeowner faced a safety concern with an uneven, sinking front sidewalk entryway. The sunken concrete created a tripping hazard and reduced curb appeal—common issues caused by shifting soil and moisture intrusion.
At NV Waterproofing and Foundation Repair, we used our proven PolyLevel system to lift and stabilize the sinking concrete slabs. This innovative method involves injecting high-density polyurethane foam beneath the surface to restore the walkway to its proper level—quickly and with minimal disruption. To further protect the area, we applied NexusPro Joint Sealant to seal joints and help prevent water intrusion and future soil erosion.
The after photo highlights the smooth, level entryway—now safe, secure, and visually improved. This project is a great example of how NV Waterproofing and Foundation Repair delivers professional concrete repair and leveling solutions in Woodbridge and the surrounding Northern Virginia area.
In the "before" photo, you can clearly see the water intrusion issues troubling this homeowner's basement in Damascus, MD. Water leaks like these aren’t just an inconvenience; they often lead to mold growth and can compromise the structure of your home if left unchecked.
To provide a lasting solution, we installed a comprehensive waterproofing system tailored to address these challenges. This included our CleanSpace encapsulation system for moisture control, the WaterGuard drainage system to redirect water away efficiently, and the TripleSafe sump pump to ensure reliable water removal.
The "after" photo highlights the transformation. The basement is now dry and fully protected against future water problems, giving homeowners a safe, usable space and the peace of mind that comes with a waterproofed foundation. Our solutions are designed to guard your home’s integrity, prevent mold, and restore valuable living areas for years to come.
Installation of WaterGuard and CleanSpace in Potomac, MD basement.
We have added silver glow insulation to this crawlspace to create a thermal boundary. In addition, drainage matting has been installed to enhance waterproofing. The drainage matting creates a vapor barrier and provides increased comfort when accessing your crawlspace.
A church in Potomac, MD was experiencing clear signs of basement water intrusion. Before the repair, efflorescence was visible along the cinderblock basement walls, showing where moisture had been pushing through the block. Water was also entering at the base of the wall where the foundation wall meets the floor, which is a common problem area during heavy rain or ongoing drainage issues.
To provide a long-term waterproofing solution, NV Waterproofing & Foundation Repair installed a WaterGuard interior drainage system to collect water at the wall-floor joint and direct it away from the basement. We also installed CleanSpace along the basement walls to help control moisture and create a cleaner, brighter space. Exterior drainage was added to help move water away from the church foundation and reduce the chance of future water problems.
After the project was completed, the church basement was better protected from water intrusion, moisture, and continued damage. With WaterGuard, CleanSpace, and improved exterior drainage in place, the church now has a cleaner, drier, and more reliable basement space for the congregation.
