1. What is common in most areas of the state, especially in early August and September is the threat of thunderstorms which often cause destructive tornadoes, large hail & severe floods.
2. When floods hit your area, your basement is most likely to be the prime targets for water damage, simply because it is the lowest lying area of your home.
3. If you allow it to be wet, moldy, humid, smelly, and unhealthy, you're abandoning an entire floor of space in your home. Additionally, the basement air - filled with odors, dust mite feces, humidity, and mold spores - will rise into the rest of the house, ruining the healthy environment of the home.

The workmen showed up right on time. They were courteous and pleasant – and they told us EXACTLY what they were going to do. Once they dug down to the sewer pipe, Jim was proven correct as the pipe was broken completely in half. Originally, Jim thought the job would take 2-3 days. It was finished in one day – way beyond my expectations.
This experience is one of the most satisfying I’ve ever had while having work done on my house. I can’t thank you enough for the courtesy, speed and quality your company provided. The team was fast and accurate. I am forever a customer, and if anyone asks, I will recommend your company as being the best in the business. The experience has been phenomenal, from the first day that Jim showed up to give the estimate right through having all the work done. Kudos to everyone in your company for doing a great job.

The reason for this high review is because of the high quality character of Jim. NV came to my home to investigate water infiltrating my basement from a front foundation wall. Jim assessed the problem as best he could, but because I had left the dry wall up he was unable to immediately access the area inside the drywall. Being at work at the time, I asked my wife to cut back some of the drywall to take a better look. Jim stayed and not only helped my wife cut away the drywall and remove sopping wet insulation, but helped her find that the problem had originated with a leaking pipe in the wall that we did not know was there. Although the company policy against removing the drywall themselves seemed odd to me, nevertheless it was their policy. Jim went above and beyond to help my wife remove the drywall and insulation, which with two small kids was going to be very difficult for her to do by herself. He helped clean up and was polite and respectful. While I am grateful I do not have a foundation leak, should I ever have one, I will call NV Waterproofing and ask for Jim. Quality people are hard to find, thanks man.

We used NV Waterproofing (NV) to fix a basement water leak in an addition to our house. NV provided the clearest estimate (we received estimates from multiple companies), with clear pricing and identification of issues. NV completed the work promptly. While the initial work did fix the primary problem, we had a small leak remain. NV was great about coming back out to figure the issue out, and found a surprising construction anomaly causing the second small leak. NV fixed the problem (all as part of the initial estimate) and our basement has been dry since. We were very pleased with NV's persistence and ultimate solution to our problems. We strongly recommend NV.

We have used NV Waterproofing several times now for different issues that have arisen in our basement. We have found them to be very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Unlike many other waterproofing companies which try to sell you very expensive one-size-fits-all whole-house solutions (which are a rip-off with no guarantees), NV Waterproofing takes the time to target your specific problem and provides the most economical and effective approach to the problem. We appreciated their honesty and creativity in designing a plan for our flooding issues. So far, all of their work has held up great! I would highly recommend them.

"Sales rep and installers were all very helpful and professional."
Beautiful work, great crew and the crawl space is the talk of Rock Hall. Both my plumber and electrician have been here and they have seen other jobs and they were impressed with your crew as well as the quality of the work and clean-up. Mario is an excellent crew boss and has very good customer relation/service skills. He and his team should be commended for their work.

Comment: I have recently installed a new pump along with a Basement Watchdog backup system. The pump runs when it rains but it only runs for 1 to 2 seconds and pushes about a quart of water out of the discharge pipe. The pit does have some mud in it. I'm concerned because I don't want the pump to burn up from not running long enough, my yard looks like a lake and I don't know how to route the discharge far enough away from the house. Need someone with experience to give me an opinion without raking me over the coals. The contractor that installed the pump was more of a plumber than a sump pump/drainage specialist and they had a hard time and charged me too much.
