In Fairfax, VA, a homeowner faced a problem that many understand—a musty, wet basement impacting their home's safety. As seen in the before photo, moldy walls threatened comfort and health. This is more than a home improvement; it's about revitalizing safety and peace of mind. We stepped in to turn things around by installing our reliable WaterGuard®, coupled with the TripleSafe™ sump pump and CleanSpace® encapsulation systems. These solutions eradicated moisture issues, creating a healthy and dependable environment. Notice the transformation in the after photo—a stable, safe, and uplifting space.
In Blacksburg, Virginia, Ellen's basement showed significant water intrusion, jeopardizing the safety and usability of her space. In the before photo, you can see signs of dampness, which could lead to structural and health issues if left unaddressed. Our team at Fortress Foundation Solutions installed our WaterGuard system to capture water before it entered the home. We paired that with a TripleSafe sump pump, which pumps the water out of the home. We also installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to improve air quality and moisture levels. The after photo highlights the transformed, dry environment suitable for storage and daily use.
We strive to fix every home with top of the line materials! This client called Fortress Foundation Solutions about water collecting in their basement. Our System Designer, Caleb Stone, went out to their home, found the water seeping into the basement through the walls, and designed a solution himself for the issue. When our Foreman, Andre Luck (better known as "Lucky"), and his crew went out to fix the issue, they used the CleanSpace Wall Systems on the walls, as well as our WaterGuard drainage solution on the floor below to ensure that any water that was collected drained to the TripleSafe Sump Pump, which was then transferred to the discharge line outside of the home.
During a light rainstorm passing through Staunton, Virginia, Ms. Baker went downstairs to her finished, carpeted basement and ended up with wet socks. Her basement had flooded.
She Googled “wet basement repair” in her area and called us at Fortress Foundation Solutions. System Designer Joe went out to inspect the source of the water and found groundwater seepage pushing its way through the floor/wall joints. He put together a repair plan, and not too long after, we sent Gustavo and his crew out to take care of the job.
They started by removing the ruined paneling along the walls. Then, they jackhammered the floor around the perimeter and installed our WaterGuard system. After that, they laid clean crushed stone around the WaterGuard and resealed the floor with concrete.
They also covered the walls with our CleanSpace Wall System to prevent any moisture from seeping through the porous concrete walls. They finished off the job by tying everything into a TripleSafe sump pump system and left Ms. Baker’s basement clean, dry, and healthier than when they first arrived!
This client called Fortress Foundation Solutions about water collecting in herbasement. Our System Designer, Skylar, went out to the home and found water seeping into the basement through the walls. Skylar completed a full inspection and presented the homeowner with a proposal and a quote. She was happy with both and decided to move forward with the work. When our Foreman, Alex, and his crew went out to fix the issue, they used our WaterGuard drainage solution on the floor below to ensure that any water that was collected drained to the TripleSafe Sump Pump, which was then transferred to the discharge line outside of the home.
This customer is very satisfied with the work and happy that water intrusion will no longer be an issue in her home!
