This home in Halifax, VA was having issues with the foundation wall bowing inward. There were major cracks throughout the wall. After calling Fortress Foundation Solution, our System Designer was able to come out to the home to provide an estimate for a permanent solution. Our Foreman and his crew went out to this home and installed our PowerBrace System. PowerBrace Supports help add stability to a wall that is failing.   

This homeowner located in Nathalie, Virginia contacted Fortress Foundation Solutions because they were having a couple of different issues in their basement. One of the walls had started to bow inwards and they were also receiving water through the walls. 

Fortress recommended that we install our PowerBrace Foundation Wall Repair System. powerBraces are the ideal way to stabilize failing foundation walls and can stop any further damage and potentially straighten the wall. This system is also easily adjustable, allowing for tightening of the brace to attempt to raise the wall back to its original position.

We also recommended our Full Perimeter WaterGuard System. Our WaterGuard System is installed underneath the floor slab, resting on top of your foundation footing. This system is installed with minimal invasion of the slab, and all concrete is restored after installation.

Fortress Foundation Solutions installed 10 PowerBraces to prevent further bowing in this customer's foundation walls. Over time, the braces are tightened, and will straighten the bowing wall. Fortress also installed WaterGuard with a SuperSump System to prevent the leaking tht the bowing wall was causing.

The concrete slab that was holding this home up had a major crack in it that was effecting the stability of the home. Fortress Foundation Solutions installed Helical Piers to support the foundation and correct the cracking.
