1. When it comes to precipitation, the state of Washington has some of the rainiest regions in the world. Seattle, for example, has a reputation for frequent rain, with an average of more than 150 rainy days. This can easily lead to flooding.
2. When flooding hits your area, your basement is most likely to be the prime target for water damage.
3. If you allow it to be wet, moldy, humid, smelly, and unhealthy, you're abandoning an entire floor of space in your home. Additionally, the basement air - filled with odors, dust mite feces, humidity, and mold spores - will rise into the rest of the house, ruining the healthy environment of the home.
If you are looking for an solution to your basement or crawl space waterproofing problem, you've come to the right place. As experts specializing in waterproofing wet basements, we've seen all kinds of wet basements and crawl spaces throughout Washington and have helped thousands of home owners remedy their problems.

Comment: We have a new source of water in our daylight basement that needs analysis and recommendation/estimate for a solution. This is a home built in 2005, persistent clay, inadequate up-side drain tile but plenty of slope below for diversion.

Comment: Basement floor leakage
Project Location: N Otter Creek Lane, Elk, WA 99009
Comment: We have a wall in a downstairs bedroom that is leaking water. It has happened twice, both times when there is a quick thaw and a lot of water with the ground so frozen it has nowhere to go. The water is not gushing, but is definitely significant. Currently the area is behind sheet rock with the carpet and pad rolled back to dry. One thing of note is the main line sewage access is right outside the wall of this area.

Comment: I am owner of this property - currently I am renting it out, as I live in the Seattle area. The renters contacted me within the last month to notify me of some pooling water in one of the newly remodeled rooms. The house is a split level four story home with the bottom floor being complete underground and the second floor being a sub floor that is 1/2 partial underground. The room that is experiencing the water pooling is on the second 1/2 partial underground level. This room prior to remodel was a finished concrete floor with NO visible cracks in either the foundation wall or floor. It is ONLY this room that is experience the pooling water. I have owned this property for 10 years and have never experienced this problem prior so I am not sure whats causing it of where the water is coming up from.

Comment: We have 1927 bungalow with concrete basement/foundation. We would like to finish the basement in the next few years. First step...dealing with occasional water in basement. Looking to get info/bids on egress windows (3-4), evaluation of foundation for repairs, sealing, water drainage system around perimeter, etc.
Project Location: E. Shelter Lane, Deer Park, WA 99006
Comment: Over the past year we have had two instances of water getting in our finished basement. One was through a very large window well and the other through a below grade door. We need some advice on how to fix these problems!
Project Location: N. Post Street, Spokane, WA 99205
Comment: We have a home that was built in 1938 that recently has developed mold inside in the basement. This is due to water leaking in from the outside at ground level along the walls and even in some cases, the floor of the basement. We need to rectify the situation and prevent further problems before it gets any worse. The area of the basement is under 600 square feet (though I am not sure what the perimeter is) if that gives you any idea of the size of the house.
