The Homeowners of this single-family home in Woodruff, AZ, noticed some foundation problems around the perimeter of the house. The problem was that the concrete slabs were settling in a fast-paced manner, so some space gabs started to appear between the walls of the exterior of the house and the floor. After doing some research, the Owners of the house decided to call for help. When our representatives arrived at the residency, they knew what the problem was and the solution too.

In this set of before and afters our foreman installed our three part Concrete Protection System that includes Concrete Leveling, Joint and Crack Sealing and Concrete Staining. The concrete staining worked so well that the rich color stood out in the area.

In Sierra Vista, Arizona, the front porch of a residence is experiencing significant concrete cracking due to the compression or erosion of the underlying soil. These cracks are not only unsightly but also allow moisture to infiltrate beneath the slab, which can lead to further soil erosion and additional cracking. The aim of this project is to repair and seal the cracked concrete on the front porch to prevent further damage and restore its aesthetic appeal.

Solution:

We will utilize NexusPro, a silicone-based sealant from Arizona Foundation Solutions, known for its long-lasting flexibility and resistance to harsh weather conditions. Unlike traditional sealants, NexusPro is UV-resistant and won't crack, bubble, or dry out, ensuring a durable repair solution.

Process:

Inspection: TJ will conduct an on-site evaluation to assess the extent of the damage on the front porch and determine the best repair approach.

Preparation: The crew, led by Eduardo, will drill and smooth the cracks, inserting a non-absorbent backer rod filler.

Application: NexusPro will be applied to seal the joints and cracks, providing a strong barrier against moisture and weather damage.

Finishing: A thin layer of native sand will be applied for a uniform and finished appearance.

Expected Outcomes:

The NexusPro solution is expected to provide a durable repair that enhances the front porch’s appearance and longevity. The sealed joints and cracks will prevent moisture infiltration and protect against soil compaction and washout.
