This homeowner called us here at Atlanta Basement Systems, stating that they had noticed that there were high levels of humidity in their crawl space. Humidity and moisture can cause many issues for a homeowner, and it can lead to high levels of damage done in the home if not taken care of. This customer was dealing with a moist and humid crawl space, which was leading to mold growing on the wood in the space. Once mold begins to grow in the crawl space, this is allowing impure air to filter throughout your home. This can lead to many different health issues for the family, and once mold begins to grow, this can lead to further issues with wood rot. This customer knew they needed to get this issue fixed in their crawl space. To rid the mold before the encapsulation, we used soda blasting, which remediates the mold and gets it out of the space, leaving the crawl space clean and to filter throughout the home.

This crawl space was facing water intrusion and it was leading to mold growing in the space.
