CleanSpace Vapor Barrier stops water from entering through the basement walls by allowing the water to drain down the backside of the vapor barrier and into the drainage system. WaterGuard Drainage System will then carry the water away to the sump pump. 

In Duluth, Georgia, our team at Atlanta Basement Systems addressed a homeowner's significant crawl space issues. Initially, the space was moldy, humid, and sagging, posing risks to the home's foundation. As depicted in the before photo, previous stabilization efforts were unsuccessful. To overcome these challenges, we installed our CleanSpace encapsulation system, SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, and SmartJack support system. The after photo showcases a transformed crawl space that is now clean, dry, and stable. 

In Stone Mountain, Georgia, this crawl space faced significant damage due to moisture causing wood deterioration. The photo illustrates poorly supported floors stemming from this issue. To rectify this, we executed a comprehensive repair using our technologies. Installation included a SuperSump to manage water, a SmartJack system to stabilize beams and reduce bounce, and a SaniDry Sedona for optimal dehumidification, curbing mold and odors. Finally, CleanSpace encapsulation created a robust barrier against moisture entry. This effective combination restores structural integrity and ensures a dry, healthy environment for the homeowner.

This crawl space needed some serious love and attention because it was in rough shape. Isaiah and his crew arrived to the home and first had to remove all the debris and seal the crawl space vents. Then they used CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system to create a vapor barrier and keep moisture out of the air. They also used the CleanSpace to wrap the bottom of the piers. Then they installed a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier, along with a condensation pump. This will control the relative humidity in the air and the condensation pump will remove water collected from the dehumidifier. Now the crawl space looks amazing and is protected from moisture and humidity!
