In Crawfordville, a homeowner faced a persistent issue with a nasty crawl space, riddled with dampness and potential hazards. This customer's basement fell victim to a moisture intrusion problem. To solve this issue, we installed our high-performance TripleSafe sump pump and WaterGuard interior perimeter drainage system. The TripleSafe sump pump is designed to provide constant and reliable pumping power, even when the power goes out. The WaterGuard system collects any water that seeps through the walls and directs it to the sump pump, which pumps it away from the house, preventing moisture intrusion.

The TripleSafe Sump Pump has three pumps, which adjust automatically to meet pumping demands, Battery-powered pump to prevent flooding during power outages, Removable, airtight lid to reduce noise and facilitate inspections and servicing.

In addition to an interior perimeter drainage system, we installed a crawl space SmartSump Pump System to permanently waterproof this customers crawl space. 

This crawl space had high levels of humidity and moisture which were causing mold and damage to the wooden support beams. This was also making the floor weak and sag in some places. To alleviate these issues, Ken and Jonah had to remove all the debris and seal the crawl space vents first. Then they installed the CleanSpace drainage matting and liner to create a vapor barrier. CleanSpace is made with antimicrobial additives to prevent the growth of mold. Because of the moisture damage to the wood, they also added SmartJacks to support the foundation and prevent sagging. After going through a complete transformation, the crawl space looks amazing and will help protect this home!
