This homeowner reached out looking for a solution to stabilize their bouncy floors. They had received a recommendation from a structural engineer to replace their concrete cap blocks with a more stable option. After an inspection and walkthrough with one of our System Design Specialists, the homeowner asked us to perform the work. One of our crews went out to the home and installed multiple SmartJacks to stabilize the floor joists and beams. SmartJacks are adjustable steel piers that stop floors from sagging and raise them back to the correct height. This homeowner no longer has to worry about bouncy, sagging floors!

The most effective solution to this customer's uneven floor problem was to remove the damaged wood posts and install SmartJack support posts. SmartJack support posts are specifically designed to stabilize and level the floor by providing a strong, stable base to support the joists. This is especially helpful for older homes that have sagging floors due to insufficient support.

In order to permanently stabilize the homeowner's foundation walls, we installed GeoLock Wall Anchors. The system extends from the interior wall to the stable soil outside, bracing the foundation wall and preventing further movement. 

During a home inspection, this customer was recommended to call a crawl space repair expert to provide additional support in their crawl space. During a free crawl space repair estimate, our office did a thorough inspection of the customer's crawl space. Sagging floors and inadequate support were identified, so we recommended SmartJack Support Posts and added support beams.
