Typically, floor cracks are the last part of the basement to leak; but with a crack this size, waterproofing it before finishing a basement is important.  Also, for the size of this St. Peters, Missouri basement, we installed another sump pump in the opposite corner from the one put in at the time of construction.

Robert S. of St. Peters, Missouri was distraught by the water leaking into his basement where the floor meets the wall. The water put his valuables at risk for damage and provided the perfect environment for mold growth.

Foreman Bradley P. installed WaterGuard to waterproof the basement. WaterGuard guides water to the TripleSafe sump pump system and away from the basement. With this duo, Robert no longer has to be concerned about a wet, musty basement.

WaterGuard was installed as part of the waterproofing system. WaterGuard is installed underneath the concrete floors, along the walls (as shown in the picture.) It's situated on top of the concrete footing of the basement so it won't be clogged by mud as it collects water from the foundation walls and floors and drains it away to the sump pump for removal.

Karen and Aaron of St. Peters, MO had a plumber install a sump pump in an open pit. Unfortunately, it was installed improperly which had caused the pump turn on constantly and burn out. Water was still getting into their basement so they called Woods Basement Systems. Woods recommended replacing the old pump and open pit with a TripleSafe sump system.

Woods replaced the old, burnt out pump with the TripleSafe. The TripleSafe contains a primary, secondary and battery back up pump in an airtight sealed sump liner. The TripleSafe ensures the basement will remain dry even in severe weather and power outages.
