A basement in Ballwin, MO, was leaking during heavy rain and needed to be addressed. This was causing distress to the homeowner, so they decided to give Woods a call. To solve this issue, WaterGuard™ was used to collect the water that entered the basement. This system won't get clogged due to its horizontal design. Next, a sump pump was installed to discharge the water out of the basement. This sump pump has a battery back-up generator to ensure the pump keeps working, even during  a power outage. With these systems in place, the homeowner can rest easy knowing their basement will remain dry for years to come! 

Our customer in Ballwin, Missouri, Chris wanted to make sure his exterior sump pump discharge line would not collapse or clog. We installed our water proofing system and new sump pump that comes with a sealed lid that's so much better than the original black-liner from the big box stores. On the exterior we added our IceGUARD™ to ensure if the buried discharge line collapses or freezes, water once pumped from the sump pump will be expelled to the exterior of the home, ensuring the basement stays dry.

Several cracks were forming in this Ballwin Missouri basement and two were beginning to leak so the homeowner hired us to repair them once and for all.

Patrick and Kimberly S. of Ellisville, MO had a beautifully finished basement. Unfortunately the basement was not waterproofed before it was finished and during a particularly heavy downpour, leaks behind their finished walls flooded the basement. It took hours to clean up and fan dry so they called Woods Basement Systems to see what could be done about the water problem. Woods recommended a basement waterproofing system.

Woods installed the WaterGuard drainage system under the cement floors along the perimeter of the basement. Unlike exterior drainage systems that are notorious for clogging, WaterGuard is an interior system that is situated on top of the concrete footing of the home to keep it free from mud and debris. It uses its wall flanges and channel holes to catch water from the foundation walls and floors before it can enter the basement and drains it to the sump pump for removal.

Design specialist Jacob K. assessed the situation and came up with the perfect solution. Foreman Juan H. then headed to the home to install a TripleSafe sump pump and a Waterguard drainage system. 

The Waterguard drainage system, pictured above, was placed above the footing of the basement. It accepts water from the ground before it reaches the basement surface. The Waterguard then drains the water to the sump pump.

Mark M. no longer has to worry about his home's basement collecting water. He now has a dry and waterproof basement.
