This St. Louis, MO home had installed a single sump pump trying to control the water getting into the basement. The water was leaking in several locations so Woods installed the WaterGuard basement waterproofing system and the sump pump with a battery back up. 

This homeowner in Overland, Missouri had a leaky basement. They had an existing sump pump, but they needed something more reliable. Woods Basement Systems installed the TripleSafe™ sump pump system, which includes two pumps and a battery back-up system that operates during power outages.

Meghan P. was representing a Saint Louis, MO property that had a very leaky basement. The walls and floors were stained and damaged by repeated flooding throughout the years. Woods installed WaterGuard under the cement floors, along the perimeter of the basement. WaterGuard is an interior drainage system that is situated on top of the homes footing, out of the way of mud or debris that might clog it. It collects water from the foundation walls and floors of the basement, using its wall flange and channel holes, and drains it to the sump pump for removal.

Design specialist Jacob K. assessed the situation and decided the best solution was to install a TripleSafe sump pump and a Waterguard drainage system. Foreman Jose L. then headed to the home to get the job started.

The Waterguard drainage system, pictured above, was placed above the footing of the basement. After installation, the Waterguard was covered with concrete. The Waterguard collects water coming up from the ground before it reaches the basement surface. It then drains the water to the sump pump.

Keith M. no longer has to worry about his home's basement flooding after heavy rain showers. He now has a dry and waterproof home.
