To solve this issue, WaterGuard™ was used to collect the water that entered the basement. This system sits horizontally on top of the soil to prevent clogging. Next, a sump pump was installed to discharge the water out of the basement. This sump pump has a battery back-up generator to ensure the pump keeps working, even during a power outage. With these systems in place, the homeowner can rest easy knowing their basement will remain dry for years to come!

Michael D and his crew installed a new TripleSafe sump pump to effectively pump out the unwanted water. A TimeMachine Data Logger was also added to monitor humidity, temperature, pump cycle and run times, and battery voltage. In the Before image, the hole where the TripleSafe pump will go is seen. In the After photo, the pump is seen installed and functioning. David can now relax knowing his sump pump will work effectively!
