Water was entering a basement in Moro, IL, and the sump pump was failing to remove this water. To solve these issues, the WaterGuard System was first installed. These drainage pipes intercept water at the perimeter of the basement and drain it toward the sump pump. This system has a design that will drain any wall seepage without allowing dirt and debris from the floor to enter and clog the pipes. Next, the TripleSafe Sump Pump System was installed. This system assures protection from everyday problems with an ordinary pump. It can handle a heavy flow of water, thanks to a secondary pump included inside that will help eliminate the water if the first pump is unable to keep up with the amount of water that is entering it. It also features a removable airtight lid which reduces noise, prevents objects from falling in, and keeps moisture, insects, and odor from coming out of the sump. This system also includes an UltraSump battery backup system which turns on if the power goes out and effectively pumps out the water. Thanks to these systems, this basement will remain dry and clean for years to come!

Most wet basements, like this one Collinsville, Illinois, occur from a leak at the foundation wall and basement floor seam.  If this section is covered by drywall, the drywall will need to be cut out to install our WaterGuard® waterproofing system.  A section of the basement floor needs to be removed and re-concreted after the WaterGuard® is installed.

The customer had water coming in over the sill plate in one part of the basement and the other part was coming in at the foundation wall and basement floor seam.  Also was coming in under the cellar door.  Sill plate drain tile drainage took care of the sill plate and the combination of our trench drain and waterguard took care of the rest of the basement.

WaterGuard was installed in this Collinsville, IL home to protect from water damage as it helps direct water flow into the sump pump. WaterGuard is also installed out of the "mud" zone which helps avoid clogging.
