To stop water damage from developing in this wet basement, Team Woods installed WaterGuard drains into the footing of the basement walls. These drains are installed in the footing so that they are able to collect and direct water leaks to the home's sump pump system. 

A sump pump was failing to operate in a Shumway, IL, basement, so it was replaced with a TripleSafe Sump Pump System. This system assures protection from everyday problems with an ordinary pump. It can handle a heavy flow of water, thanks to a secondary pump included inside that will help eliminate the water if the first pump is unable to keep up with the amount of water that is entering it. It also features a removable airtight lid which reduces noise, prevents objects from falling in, and keeps moisture, insects, and odor from coming out of the sump. This basement will now remain dry and clean for years to come!

A crawlspace in Mason, IL, was humid and needed to be addressed before concerns of mold emerged. This lead to the homeowner deciding to give Woods a call. To solve this issue, CleanSpace™ was used to encapsulate the crawlspace. This highly durable liner will not only make the crawlspace look nicer, but it will also keep outside elements, like humidity, out of the crawlspace. Next, a Sedona™ dehumidifier was used to lower the humidity. With these systems in place, the homeowner can rest easy knowing their crawlspace will remain nice and dry for years to come!

A corner of a basement in Eddyville, IL was leaking water, causing some damage. To solve this issue, the WaterGuard System was installed. These drainage pipes intercept water at the perimeter of the basement and drain it toward the TripleSafe Sump Pump System, which will drain water from WaterGuard and below the basement and discharge it out of the house. This system also includes an UltraSump battery backup system, which turns on if the power goes out and effectively pumps out the water. This basement will remain dry and clean for years to come!

This home in Albers, IL. had a section of the home that sat over a basement and a section of the home that sat over a crawlspace. Both of these areas can present unique challenges for waterproofing a home. 

The crawlspace had a dirt floor that allowed water vapor to rise up into the underside of the home where it could weaken the wooden floor joists and feed mold throughout the home. The basement walls had cracks that allowed water to leak in through the wall where it could collect on the floor and cause damage or evaporate into the air and make the basement feel damp and uncomfortable. 

To fix this, foreman Jose L. started by encapsulating the crawlspace with CleanSpace™ liner. CleanSpace™ is a super durable and mold resistant waterproofing liner that covers the floor and most of the walls of the crawlspace to prevent any water or water vapor from entering the area. With CleanSpace™ installed, the crawlspace would be kept dry and protected from potential water leaks that come from below ground.
