A foundation was bowing inward in Steeleville, IL, causing large horizontal cracks to form. To solve these issues, the PowerBrace System was installed. This will permanently stabilize the foundation and eliminate any further inward movement. A basement in Steeleville, Illinois, needed some wall support work done. Cracks were starting to appear on the interior walls of the basement, indicative of a settling foundation. To address this issue, Woods came in and installed the GeoLock Anchor System. Heavy duty steel anchors are buried some ways away from the home and connected to the home using steel rods. These rods are then attached to steel wall plates that are placed directly on the wall. As the rods are tightened, they pull the wall back into place. With the addition of this installation, this basement will be stable for many years to come.
