Chris was noticing after heavy rains, water would seep in through his block foundation, causing the basement to become wet. He reached out to MidAmerica Basement Systems to have the problem resolved. He was offered a CleanSpace Wall Liner system to help redirect water down the wall and into a WaterGuard system, while providing a moisture barrier for the rest of the basement. WaterGuard would then redirect the water to a TripleSafe sump to be properly discharged from the basement. Chris no longer worries about heavy rains, and knows his basement will stay dry and clean.

Homeowners recently had their old sump pump replaced after it was failing to remove the water from their basement and constantly running. The TripleSafe sump pump is a three-pump system that has a WaterWatch Alarm and a battery backup. The WaterWatch alarm is used to alert you when the water in the pump get to high and the battery back up is used to keep the system running if you ever experience power loss.

Randy’s children spend a lot of their time in the basement because of their playroom. He had begun noticing that they would bring their toys upstairs, rather than playing down there. Randy reached out to MidAmerica Basement Systems to have an insulation system installed. ThermalDry Wall panels were suggested to insulate the basement. ThermalDry offers a heat-reflective surface that bounces 97% of the home’s heat back into the area, while providing a moisture barrier between the cold, damp concrete walls, reducing the moisture levels. Randy’s children now continue to play in the basement, no longer worrying of being cold.
