This basement was leaking water and emitting musty smells. The homeowner was concerned about the items they store down there, and they also wanted to be able to store more items down there without worrying about water and moisture destroying them. We installed an interior perimeter waterproofing system with WaterGuard below the floor drains, a SuperSump sump pump, and a discharge line.

Before tackling this project in Pendleton, KY, the homeowner faced a daunting challenge – an old waterproofing system that simply couldn’t hold its ground against water intrusion. As shown in the ‘before’ photo, the struggle was real, the results, discouraging. However, turning to us made a world of difference. We introduced a robust trio-system: SuperSump, WaterGuard, and CleanSpace. Now, in the ‘after’ photo, notice the transformation – a dry, secure basement ready to withstand any storm. For this basement in Lebanon, KY, we replaced an old sump pump with our TripleSafe sump pump. We also replaced the damaged wet drywall with our EverLast wall panels. These waterproof panels help protect the most vulnerable areas of a finished basement, and they will never get damaged from water. We also replaced the drainage system for this basement by installing our interior perimeter system, which includes our patented WaterGuard subfloor drains. The result is a dry, clean basement that the homeowners no longer have to worry about. 

This basement in Springfield, KY, was leaking nearly every time it rained. We waterproofed the basement by wrapping our WaterGuard subfloor drains around the interior perimeter of the basement, and installing our TripleSafe sump pump. Our system is minimally invasive compared to other exterior solutions, as our system doesn't require digging around a homes foundation on the outside. Instead, our WaterGuard drains sit above the footing of the home from the inside. This way our system isn't susceptible to clogging from soil. The drains were pitched down towards the lowest graded part of the basement floor, right where we installed our TripleSafe sump pump. Our TripleSafe is our most secure system, as it comes with three pumps including a battery backed pump. The homeowner was happy they don't have to worry about flooding anymore afterwards. 

When a block foundation wall bows inward, the first sign of movement is usually horizontal cracking between the mortar. This horizontal crack is normally right where the frost line is. The frost line is how deep the ground freezes in the winter. Winter cycles can exert a lot of external pressure on a foundation wall, and if not cared for, can cause walls to collapse. For this basement in Pleasureville, Kentucky, we installed our PowerBrace beam system to ensure the wall stays upright. Our PowerBraces are coated in zinc, which prevents rusting. They also come with special floor joist brackets to prevent damage to the floor joists in the ceiling. Lastly, PowerBraces may even be able to straighten walls back out over time under the right circumstances. After the project was completed, the homeowner was relieved to know that their basement wall is now safe.
