Our inspector, Rick, drew up a plan to encapsulate the crawl space which would result in a dry and protected space, improve the home, and lower energy bills. On installation day, our crew, lead by Shawn, got to work with the encapsulation process. They started by insulating the space with SilverGlo to regulate the crawl space's temperature and then installed the drainage matting that sits on the ground underneath the vapor barrier. Finally, they installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier which is a strong material that seals out moisture and encapsulate the entire area. Now the space is protected from the outdoors and the overall environment of the home is better for it.

The Cleanspace liner was installed in this Narragansett, RI crawlspace to isolate the home from the earth completley and permanently. The liner is a heavy 20-mil thick material comparable to a pool liner. The bright white color really brightens the crawlspace to make better use of available light!
