Our service technician Nick DeCosta was on an annual maintenance visit in Raynham and came across this pump that needed a lot of attention from DryZone! The property in Raynham has an iron ochre problem. The orange, rust colored slim all over the pump forms from the iron bacteria. Nick rinsed and cleaned the pump and performed annual maintenance on the system.

This orange 'goop' is iron ochre and it can clog a system (think of it like cholesterol clogging an artery).
