This damp, dirt floor crawlspace located in West Bridgewater, MA needed an overhaul. DryZone was able to come out and install our CleanSpace encapsulation vapor barrier system for them, and installed new SilverGlo foam insulation the crawl, as well!

This unfinished basement in Braintree, MA was not in the best shape. There were clear signs of mold growth on some of the wooden material and the humidity was higher than usual. As a waterproofing company, we understand how moisture can really damage one's home, so we knew to apply our CleanSpace wall vapor barrier onto the walls in order to prevent any moisture from entering the basement. At the end of the job, we also installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier for additional help to lower the relative humidity!

On installation day, our crew started waterproofing the basement by fully encapsulating the area that had a dirt floor and stone walls, similar to how we encapsulate crawl spaces. This is because dirt and stone are very susceptible to water issues and our CleanSpace vapor barrier seals off the space completely, so it will no longer be affected by outside weather. The crew also installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier and SmartSump sump pump. The SaniDry Sedona keeps humidity in the space low and conveniently drains itself into the SmartSump which sends all of the water out of the space through a discharge line. The homeowner can now rest easy knowing that their frustrations with water in their basement are behind them.
