The owner of this Tiverton, RI home reached out with concerns that after each rain, the crawl space would get damp and musty! When the inspector took a look, they showed the homeowner their findings and then devised a plan to seal up the crawl space to reduce that moisture. The plan that the crew executed consisted of insulating with SilverGlo to regulate the temperature of the space. They also added our CleanSpace vapor barrier, a 20 mil-thick plastic liner that seals the damp earth out from the rest of the home. To reduce that moisture in the crawl space even more, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed to absorb that water vapors, resulting in a healthy crawl space for this home!
